ReasonLabs has joined the Microsoft Intelligent Security Association (MISA) to improve global cybersecurity in the face of increasing cyber attacks.

As millions were forced to work remotely during the global pandemic last year, hackers upped their game and took advantage of the expanded threat landscape. Many organizations have seen their sensitive data created, viewed, and distributed across multiple fragmented platforms that increased the potential attack surface.

ReasonLabs has joined the Microsoft Intelligent Security Association (MISA) in the fight against increasingly sophisticated and dangerous cyber threats. As a member of MISA, ReasonLabs joins other leading experts in cybersecurity to become a part of the security, compliance, and identity ecosystem.

ReasonLabs was nominated to MISA for integrating its antimalware platform Cloud Detection with Microsoft’s Windows Security Center (“WSC”) and being a member of the Microsoft Virus Initiative (MVI).  In addition, using Azure Managed SQL Database, ReasonLabs’ malware database (DB) is synced with any new malware and widely available, which will have a dramatic impact on real-time protection for users.

MISA is an ecosystem of independent software vendors and managed security service providers that have integrated with Microsoft Security to better protect organizations against new and emerging threats to their cybersecurity. Through MISA, members receive support in building managed services and software integrations that protect and govern data wherever it lives, identify and take actions on critical insider risks, simplify compliance, reduce risk, and investigate and respond with relevant data.

“Joining MISA aligns with Reason’s goal of becoming part of a larger, more unified effort to improve global cybersecurity and solve the challenges posed by a complex and dangerous cyber threat landscape. We are proud to be collaborating with Microsoft and other members of the security community in this effort and will continue to provide leading cybersecurity solutions to our joint customers,” said Kobi Kalif, General Manager at Reason Cybersecurity.

“The Microsoft Intelligent Security Association has grown into a vibrant ecosystem comprised of the most reliable and trusted security software vendors across the globe. Our members, like Reason Cybersecurity, share Microsoft’s commitment to collaboration within the cybersecurity community to improve our customers’ ability to predict, detect, and respond to security threats faster,” said Rani Lofstrom, Senior Product Marketing Manager, Microsoft Security.
